South Florida Family Photographer

CLARA ANDRADE IS A DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHER WHO CAPTURES FAMILY LIFE IN AN HONEST, INTIMATE WAY ACROSS THE US AND BRAZIL.

Life is a wild combo.
Our photos should represent that.
I want to show you;
how amazingly ready you already are,
how tender wild children can be,
how much love your somehow messy house holds.

We are not perfect, our kids aren't either.
The realization of this mundane and finite time is  what allows us to surrender to joy and embrace imperfection in our lives.

I want to reveal stories that help both our today and tomorrow so you can acknowledge the power of presence and the beloved memories you will carry  some day.

"Clara can capture the heart and soul of tender and chaotic moments. Through her lenses and trained eye, her photos truly show how special every moment can be."

HI, I'M CLARA

I could tell you big fancy words about myself but the reality is I'm here to relate.

We all share this common ground, with ups and downs. One day you feel like you got it all because you woke up early, no one is late and coffee scent runs though every corner of the house. The next, you can't remember if you washed your face at noon and your inbox looks like a piñata, ready to burst. Look around you -  life is happening, and the only way to go  through it is getting our feet wet.

I want to tell stories that are honest to ourselves. To help create a visual archival that speaks to our humanity - faulty, joyful, compassionate, loving, angry, hopeful. I'm a strong believer that parenting can be a beautiful mission if we set ourselves free from expectations (even the ones we create) and follow our own path and instincts.

Born and raised in Brazil, I moved to South Florida in 2014, where I currently live with my husband, son, cat and dog (it seems we like one sample of each). Once a copywriter, I decided to become a professional photographer and completed my studies at the Miami Institute of Photography in 2018. My work has been internationally awarded since 2020.
